Bank of Baroda Chandigarh Marks Vigilance Awareness Week 2025

The Bank of Baroda Zonal Office in Chandigarh proudly celebrated Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 from 27th October to 2nd November 2025, reinforcing its commitment to transparency, integrity, and ethical practices across all levels of operations.

Integrity Pledge Ceremony

Under the guidance of Zonal Head Shri Sabheak Singh (GM), along with Shri Rajay Bhasker DGM(CA) and Shri Rajesh Sharma DGM (BD), all staff members of the Zonal Office took the Integrity Pledge, reaffirming their dedication to honesty, accountability, and ethical conduct in banking operations.

Messages from National Leaders

During the event, messages from the Honourable President, Vice President, Prime Minister, and the Central Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) were read out by the Zonal authorities. These messages were shared among staff members to inspire vigilance, transparency, and responsible banking practices.

Cybersecurity Awareness Workshop

A special Cybersecurity Awareness Workshop was conducted by senior officials from the Chandigarh Cyber Police. The session aimed to educate staff members on recognizing and preventing cyber-crimes and money mule activities, fostering heightened vigilance in the digital banking landscape.

Training Program in Collaboration with Baroda Academy
In collaboration with Baroda Academy, Chandigarh, a one-day workshop was organized for Branch Heads from all four regions. The program focused on Ethics, Fraud Prevention, and Vigilance, equipping leaders with the knowledge and tools to promote integrity and prevent fraudulent activities within their teams.

Unity Run and Walkathon

To commemorate the birth anniversary of the legendary freedom fighter Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a Unity Run and Walkathon was held at Sukhna Lake for Chandigarh Zone staff members. The event aimed to foster team spirit, unity, and the core values of honesty and integrity.

Felicitation of Competition Winners

The Zonal Office also recognized and felicitated staff members who participated and excelled in the Vigilance Awareness Week competitions, including the Quiz, Caption Writing, Slogan Writing, and Drawing Competitions, highlighting the enthusiasm and engagement of employees in promoting vigilance culture.
